SPS India Foundation’s STDi has organized Sola Football Tournament for the youth of Shevaroyhills at The Retreat – Don Bosco, Yercaud.

STDi always promotes Nature Preservation and Eco consciousness through eco-clubs, awareness programmes and free tree plantations at Shevaroyhills. It is also always appreciated for its creative approach to the Cause. To preserve the nature and to bring eco-consciousness amidst the footballers, it has organized a free tree plantation through football teams. All the teams were given plants to plant in their villages to be part of the tournament. All the teams became part of our effort by planting the given plants and participated in the tournament with the title ‘Nature Preservers’. STDi has achieved two ends of its aim. Firstly, it has promoted a talent amidst the students and secondly, it has made the players Nature preservers. And also, all the special invitees planted a sapling each in the REO (Retreat Estate Organic) Garden. Thus, we have 300 saplings planted in Shevaroyhills.
