Children’s Day and Health and Hygiene Awareness
On 26/11/2023, Sunday, a vibrant Children’s Day program unfolded, bringing joy to 200 enthusiastic children. The event commenced at 10:00 am and concluded at 4:00 pm, filled with laughter, creativity, and spirited competitions. The day began with warm greetings, setting the tone for a memorable celebration. To ensure the children’s well-being, they were provided with nourishing tea and a delightful lunch, creating a positive and comfortable atmosphere. Throughout the day, various engaging programs captivated the children’s attention. The speech competition showcased their eloquence and confidence, while the dance competition allowed them to express their creativity through movement. The highlight was the fancy dress competition, where imagination took center stage, transforming the event into a visual spectacle. We also had the special health and hygiene awareness for the children. It was given by Fr. Maran, the Rector. He highlighted the importance of caring for the health and environment. As part of the festivities, the day also served as the Prize Distribution ceremony for the outstanding performers in the programs conducted at their night study centers. This recognition added an extra layer of motivation, encouraging the children to continue their dedication to learning. The sense of camaraderie and joy echoed through the venue as the winners were announced and applauded.
