Educational scholership for tribal childern of yercaud

The Salesian Community of the Retreat Don Bosco offers education scholarships to the poor and deserving students in Shevaroy Hills of Yercaud. It includes both school-going and college students. The annual ‘Educated a student’ meeting was held on 18^th June 2023 in the Retreat Don Bosco auditorium under the leadership of Fr. Maran, the Rector of the Retreat Don Bosco. There are 40 students who are part of this scheme. Most of them were present for the meeting. Fr. Selva Kumar SDB, the youth director and coordinator of the programme, addressed the students. He encouraged the beneficiaries to perform well in their academic activities and remain grateful to the benefactors. We believe such meetings strengthen the bond between them and the Retreat Don Bosco to make them future collaborators for similar schemes.
