NURSERY TRAINING @ KEEL PILIYUR

STDi in Collaboration with JEW trains tribal people in Nursery and gardening. It reaches out to people through project Nash. It encourages people to get involved in organic farming culture. On February 28th, 2021, a training programme was held in Keel Piliyur village. The training began with a brief introduction to nature and its applications to humans. Then, there was a training on how to do plantation from home, planting methods, and cover shifting techniques. Beneficiaries received training on how to make organic manure (Panchagaviya). It aids in the enhancement of plant immunity. Organic manure preparation usually requires less investment. It can assist in the development of people’s livelihoods by preparing organic manure and selling it on the market. The beneficiaries were interested in the training and participated actively and clarified lots of their doubts. They eagerly received the grow bags given to grow plants at their home.
